Hey guys. So for the past few weeks I have been saving my money for Play on Con, and I have even made an indiegogo page to hopefully help. I have about 50 days left to reach my goal or at least get somewhere close to it. Now that I am looking at it, I can see that I am more than likely not going to be able to go this year. Now before anything else, please let me explain. I plan on getting a hotel room at the 4H Center for Thursday - Sunday, as well as the ticket, and a little extra money for food. The hotel room for those nights equals up to about $240.00, the ticket is, at the moment, $45.00, and I wanted about $50.00 for food and con stuff. That adds up to around $330. As of now, I don't even have half of that, and probably won't even get close to half in a while. Even if I shared a room with a friend, it would still be alot of money. The only way I could even come close to the cost is if people donate to my PoC fund, and I don't think anyone will do that now. I'm not saying that I am not grateful for the donation made on there already, words can not describe how thankful I am to have that donation. I am just saying that not alot of people can't donate, and I can't really advertise it either. Most attempts I have made to advertise it have been met with negative feedback and, if on a forum, the thread being taken down with a hateful message from a moderator. Please do not take this post as a way to advertise my fundraiser or to make people feel sorry for me. This is just to let people know about my current situation and the fact that I might not be able to go this year. I will still make both a video for the donors, and link them but in a different way if I actually can't go to PoC this year.
